11 month update

We have had a difficult past 2 weeks. Today Kohen was finally back to normal and then when I was outside with him. He was sitting behind me and I thought, wow he sure is being really good. Little did I know he was eating a mushroom that was in our yard. Awesome. I got most of it out of his mouth and feed him some toast and then I called poison control. They said I have nothing to worry about and lawn mushrooms are totally safe. Very much a sigh of relief.
Kohen now has 10 teeth and his 11 is just about threw. Cutting these past few teeth have been miserable. He is waking MANY times during the night (last night he slept though the night for the first time in over a month). I think I need to take stocks out in Motrin b/c I'm buying so much. =)He also has a runny nose now b/c of it. I know that it will eventually come to an end and he will be back to my normal good boy. I just want it to happen now and not later.
Anyway, Kohen is now totally mobile and bet within the next few weeks he will be taking his first step. He pull himself up onto everything, even the walls. He crawls everywhere and fast.
Kohens Schedule at 11 months
7-wake, bottle, toast and yogurt
independent time in room or playpen
8:30-nap
11:00-wake, bottle, cheese, crackers

Kohen has also mastered drinking water from a sippy but Im not going to wean him till after one year b/c I want him to continue to drink as much breast milk as possible (Im still pumping)! Im hoping the more I stay consistent the easier it will be once hes a year.

A day in Skagit County

A very eventful Saturday. We made our first stop at PacCar-however you spell it-this was more for Jordan then me. I got to be honest when it comes to truck/car shows I'm just completely bored out of my mind. I really don't get truck engines and I really don't care if I know nothing about them. After that we made our way over to the tulip fields. By this time Kohen is already passed out in the back seat and the insane lineup of cars TOTALLY turned me off. You have to understand I'm not a flower girl. I don't know why but I really am not into flowers or gardening (not veg but flower gardening). Give me a good bush for my front yard and I'm happy. So we just cruised on by the tulip fields. Off we went to Jordans Aunt and Uncles house. It was fun catching up with them. They have a beautiful home on the ocean with and insane view. It was the perfect picture for a perfect day. Heather (Jordans cousin) Jordan, Kohen and I all went to dinner to end our eventful day. Such good food and great pictures, as well. We swung by Lu lu lemon on the way home and got home 10mins before Kohens bedtime. Crazy day but so much fun!

Beautiful Heather and Jord
Look at Kohens smile-its that not the cutest!
I thought this picture of Kohen was funny

Love this picture of us!
What a stud

Maybe next year we will get pictures of Kohen in the Tulip fields! =)

Easter 2010

Kohens first easter. I love holidays with children! I made a basket for Kohen and laid a trail of jelly beans to the sliding glass door (rabbit poo). I think this was more for Jord then it was for Kohen but we had fun either way. It was a busy day but so much fun! I love family time and we got to spend quality time with both sides of the family. God has blessed me in so many ways. Here are a few pictures........
